We partner with organizations to explore what's possible with AI through creative problem-solving, responsible technology, and hands-on collaboration. We bring optimism and rigor in equal measure, because we believe AI should expand what people can do, not narrow it. Our role is to raise the floor on what every organization can achieve, and increase the ceiling for those ready to lead.

We started Sense & Motion because we kept seeing the same pattern: AI strategy decks that never shipped, AI training that didn't stick, and AI software that didn't survive handoff. Every failure came from a narrow specialist owning a problem that needed integration. We're built differently.
We're cross-disciplinary out of necessity. Our team brings strategy, design, software engineering, facilitation, and operational depth. You work with senior people, directly. The pitch team doesn't hand off to juniors after the contract signs. The people who scope your work are the people who deliver it.
We're based in Vancouver, and understand what it's like to run an organization under BC's specific conditions. We bring sensibility to the work, while being measured, grounded, honest about constraints.

We show up honestly about what we know, what we don't, and what we're figuring out together. We tell hard truths when it matters, and we share ownership of outcomes, not just deliverables.
Every solution starts with understanding the humans in the system. AI enhances human capability rather than replacing human judgment. You'll be more capable when we're done, not more dependent.
Progress over perfection. We'd rather take a thoughtful step forward than wait for the perfect plan. We experiment, ship, measure, and adjust, building momentum through small accountable actions.
Two standards we hold ourselves to. Not values exactly, the floor under the values.
We take pride in the quality of what we produce. Whether it's a workshop, a prototype, a strategy document, or a line of code, we'd rather ship one thing beautifully than three things adequately. Progress over perfection doesn't mean progress without standards.
AI will have negative impacts. We don't shy away from that reality. We build with intention, advocate for responsible use, and hold ourselves accountable for the downstream effects of what we create. Not a checkbox, a lens we apply to every decision.
We're a small team by choice. The people you meet on a discovery call are the people who do the work.
Tyler has spent 15+ years in digital strategy, product management, and business transformation, previously as Partner and COO at Domain7, an award-winning digital agency, and as founder of Civil Space, a community engagement platform. Both were acquired in 2022.
Terry brings 25+ years across enterprise technology strategy, client relationships, and business transformation, including two decades at Compugen, ultimately as Chief Sales and Marketing Officer and President of Compugen Systems Inc. (US), helping grow the firm from regional provider to nearly $1B in revenue.
Simon has spent 30+ years bridging business strategy and technology delivery, including over a decade at Appnovation, ultimately as Senior Business Consultant and General Manager for Asia-Pacific. Simon holds a BA and MSc in Computer Science, plus certifications as Scrum Master, Product Owner, Agile Coach, SAFe, and Change Management.
Marcin has delivered digital transformation across Canada for 15+ years, specializing in technology ecosystem assessment, business process reengineering, and system consolidation. Marcin has held VP and Director-level roles at TraceSafe, SHAPE, and Fresh Tracks Canada.
Chris has 7+ years in product management, digital strategy, and business transformation across BC's public sector and enterprise clients. Previously Senior Manager at CBTW, Chris led product on CBTW's largest digital transformation engagement in Canada. Earlier delivery work spanned projects for organizations including BC Hydro, TransLink, and the BC Nurses' Union.
Charlotte brings strategic facilitation and human-centered design experience across government, technology, higher education, and healthcare in North America and the UK. Charlotte is the author of a Remote Facilitation Guide read by 3,000+ and has led Sam engagements with the City of Vancouver, MOSAIC BC, CGLCC, and TWU.
Synthia brings two decades of operational leadership across technology, real estate, banking, and law, including as COO of Clark Wilson LLP. Synthia was named one of Canada's Best Executives in 2021 by the Globe & Mail.
Reuben has spent 15+ years across user research, interface design, and frontend development, leading cross-functional teams building SaaS platforms and user engagement tools. That full-cycle product experience bridges strategic vision with practical implementation.
Igor has spent 20+ years across digital design, full-stack development, and e-commerce, with experience at Domain7, lululemon, and as founder of Foldable Studio. He takes products from concept to launch, building custom websites, business platforms, and AI integrations.
Jordan holds a Master's in Computer Science from Northeastern University, where he spent 3 years focused on atypical speech reconstruction, working with neural audio codecs and voice conversion models. He pairs that machine learning depth with hands-on web development, turning AI ideas into software people can use.
Bridget brings marketing, events, and stakeholder communications experience, most recently at the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade. She keeps events running smoothly through CRM management, strategic marketing initiatives, and stakeholder coordination.
Behind the named team is a deep bench of trusted delivery experts, advisors, and support staff. We bring in the right specialist for the work, without staffing up permanently, and without offshore handoffs.
